The London Theatre program is a 9-week intensive study program offered every other Spring term (odd years).
The program will next run Spring term 2017.
During the study term, you will attend live professional theatre performances, sometimes including mixed media concerts, and modern dance. In addition to contemporary London theatre, you may elect to study performance with London theatre professionals, meet with guest speakers, and have ample free time to explore London’s museums and other historical sites. In addition, you will travel to Stratford-Upon-Avon, Kenilworth and either Sudeley or Warwick Castle, Bath, Stonehenge/Avebury, Salisbury or Wells cathedral, and a day-trip to Brighton.
This program is designed specifically for theatre majors, but students from related areas of the arts and humanities may also be eligible. Students may enroll for 12 -16 credits in Recent British Theatre, London Performing, and London Period Styles.
You will generally have weekends free, although occasionally a show or concert may be scheduled on a Sunday evening. You are free to travel before and after the program.
