Post-Acceptance Steps

You may use the link below to download the GEO Post-Acceptance Checklist, which contains a timeline of important steps from the time you are accepted to a program until returning home after your program concludes.

UO Students
You cannot be registered for the program until all materials are completed in your GEO online application. It is particularly important to review the instructions for the Health Forms in your online application. You must schedule your appointments to complete the Travel Clinic form and/or the Health Evaluation form in person. You can also visit the UO Health Center instructions for the Travel Clinic appointment here: https://health.uoregon.edu/travel-clinic

Please note that, given the high volume of student travel, appointments at the UO Health Center fill up very quickly. Please schedule your appointment right away. You cannot participate in the program if you do not complete these steps. A delay in submitting Health Forms to GEO may result in a delay in registration, financial aid and scholarship disbursement, and enrollment in insurance.

You should also verify on DuckWeb whether you have a hold on your registration (for example if you have unpaid tuition and fees owed to the UO, the Collections Department would hold your account and prevent you from being registered for study abroad).

Non-UO Students Please check with the study abroad office at your university regarding next steps required at your home campus once you have been accepted into a GEO program. You will have additional materials in your GEO online application, including a Health Evaluation form that need to be completed. Please complete these steps as soon as possible.
