In this study abroad program, led by UO instructor Lisa Abia-Smith, you will learn about post-impressionists Paul Cezanne and Vincent Van Gogh, who both retreated to the South of France. Provence offered a momentary sanctuary for these major artists to express notions of place, identity and representation.
