Service Learning in Spain and Morocco: Immigration, Nationalism and Border Politics

This Service-Learning program is designed to give students a firsthand look at the immigration challenges and border politics that face Spain and Northern Africa. Students will participate in the spring semester program in Segovia and will complete their Service-Learning placement with the local branch of the Red Cross working to provide support to the immigrant population in Segovia. Arabic Language and Moroccan Culture in Fes

Note: This program will not run in 2018. In this program, you will focus on Arabic language acquisition and intensive interaction with Moroccan culture while living in a vibrant, bustling city of cultural and historical significance. You will be immersed in Arabic while living with a Moroccan family and studying Modern Standard Arabic with local Moroccan professors. You will study at the Arabic Language Institute in Fes (ALIF) with US and other international students.
