Singapore is one of the world’s most globalized cities and a country with one of the most rapidly growing and exciting economies. In today’s competitive job market, you’ll find no better way to stand out from the crowd. Interns will have the opportunity to meet influential industry experts and build valuable work experience in Singapore. Business development is a combination of strategic analysis, marketing, and sales. Professionals in this field can be involved in everything from the development of their employers’ products and services, to the creation of marketing strategies, to the generation of sales leads, to negotiating and closing deals.
Business development interns will assess a company portfolio and the competitive landscape of the market to find ways to expand products/ services offered to consumers. This expansion usually takes place within a sales-oriented or operational role that maximizes the strength of relationships between existing and future customers. As a business intern you will focus on lead generation, marketing, and evaluating partnership opportunities. This is a great opportunity to learn how to grow a business.
Internship assignments vary. While internships help develop technical abilities, they provide more fundamental life skills.
