The Association of American Study Abroad Programs in the United Kingdom (AASAP/UK) Lord Acton Memorial Scholarship offers awards to students studying abroad in the United Kingdom through an AASAP/UK member organization. Awards of £500 for a semester or term abroad, or £1,000 for a full year are offered yearly.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Enrollment in full-time education
- Undergraduate status at a university or college based in the United States
- Acceptance on a study abroad program offered by an AASAP/UK FULL OR ASSOCIATE member with a minimum length of one semester/term (GEO London programs are eligible)
- Minimum cumulative 3.00 GPA
- Willingness to share their experiences abroad with the AASAP/UK community in person at the beginning and through a reflective written piece at the end of their study abroad experience
Applicants must complete a written application, resume, and statement of purpose, as well as provide transcripts and two references. Students can download application materials at the AASAP/UK scholarship website.
