Brandon Rigby

Spanish-Speaking Programs Assistant

Brandon first caught his love for the Spanish language and culture when he lived and traveled in Spain for two years, a passion that was only reinforced when he was the resident director for the Querétaro Mexico summer study abroad program a few years ago. He is currently a PhD candidate in the department of Romance Languages.  He is completing his dissertation on the self-translated, bilingual poetry of contemporary writers from Puerto Rico, Argentina, and Spain. When he’s not advising students or writing his dissertation, he loves to spend time with his family, play (poorly) any kind of pick-up sport available, or read graphic novels.
