Dana earned a BA in German and a BS in Conservation Social Science from the University of Idaho in 2004. Extensive study abroad experiences in Germany and New Zealand led her to shift her career focus towards international cultures and language. In 2006, she earned a MA in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) from the University of Idaho, after which she spent a year abroad in Germany as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA). After her Fulbright year, Dana returned to the U.S. where she continued to teach English to international students at the college level before transitioning into advising for study abroad and scholarships. In her free time, Dana enjoys gaming, exploring thrift shops and doing genealogical research on her very deep American roots.
