Meg joined the GEO staff as a study abroad advisor in December 2018 where she advises for programs primarily in Africa and Italy. As a first-generation college graduate, Meg feels passionate about expanding learning opportunities for all students and increasing the accessibility of global experiences. She has traveled extensively in Central America and Europe, and has lived and worked in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Central Asia. She will soon complete an Ed.M. in College Student Services Administration from Oregon State University where she was also teaching academic success courses and workshops. When not teaching or traveling, Meg enjoys section hiking the Pacific Crest trail, experimenting in her garden, and watching live music - preferably outdoors!
