Note: These study abroad programs are only open to students enrolled in the University of Oregon Chinese Flagship program.

The University of Oregon Chinese Flagship Program provides students with the holistic academic and scholarship support they need to develop professional-level proficiency in Chinese while studying any academic major of their choice. It is part of The Language Flagship, a national effort to change the way Americans learn languages. The Language Flagship seeks to graduate students who will take their place among the next generation of global professionals, commanding a superior level of proficiency in one of many languages critical to U.S. competitiveness and security. Students in the UO Chinese Flagship program are required to participate in summer study abroad as well as the Capstone year, an intensive immersion and internship experience. Visit the UO Chinese Flagship website for more information about preparing for Flagship summer study and for the Capstone program.
