CIEE: Summer Russian Area Studies in St. Petersburg
The Russian Area Studies summer program offers students an opportunity to learn about Russian culture, history, and politics. Topic courses are taught in English. In addition to the topi course, students take a Russian language, with various levels available, from beginner to advanced. The program combines courses with a cultural program of lectures and local excursions in and around St. Petersburg, one of the world’s most historically appealing cities.
During the program, you will visit places of historical and cultural significance in St. Petersburg. Also included in the program is a trip to Moscow and a second overnight trip to another Russian city.
