The Summer in Lisbon program focuses you will explore the international financial environment of Portugal's capital with visits to economic and political institutions. Special emphasis is placed on Lisbon within a broad global context. You will take classes with other CIEE students only. You will choose one content course per session and have the option to take an additional Communicative Portuguese course. Excursions throughout the program will take you to other areas of the country such as Sintra, Mafra, or Óbidos. .

Selection for the program is based on a review of your written application, recommendation, transcript(s), and completion of the interview process. Qualified applicants are recommended by a GEO Study Abroad Program Advisor. The final selection of participants is made by CIEE.
