The African Studies Program awards multiple scholarships of $250-$500 to students participating in faculty-led summer study abroad programs in Africa. For summer 2018, the scholarship is applicable to these programs: Media in Ghana; Global Health, Development, and Service Learning in Accra; and Music, Drumming, and Dance in Ghana.

Applicants must be current UO undergraduate students pursuing an African Studies minor at the time of application to be eligible for consideration. If you are interested in the minor but have not declared it yet, you can declare the minor before applying.
