DAAD Undergraduate Scholarships
These undergraduate scholarships are available for study or internships in Germany and provide funding from four to ten months. All academic fields are eligible. Applicants must have junior standing by the beginning of the award period. Recipients receive a stipend of €615 per month of study in Germany and a lump sum reimbursement toward travel costs. As a rule, applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the US. However, foreign nationals may be eligible to apply if they have been full-time students at the UO for at least one year at the time of application and will return to the US after the scholarship period to complete their degree. Please note that DAAD applicants need to apply early to the Baden-Württemberg exchange program, so that letters of acceptance can be included with students’ DAAD applications. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit draft applications to UO Study Abroad Programs for review at least two weeks prior to the deadline.
