Studying abroad was one of the most life changing experiences I’ve ever had. Living and learning in a new country pushed me outside of my comfort zone, introduced me to people from all over the world, and gave me a fresh perspective on both academics and everyday life. It wasn’t just about the classes, it was about walking through unfamiliar streets, learning new cultural rhythms, and realizing how much growth comes from adapting to the unexpected.
What I loved most was the balance between adventure and connection. I explored new places while also building friendships that felt like family. I was surprised by how quickly a new city could start to feel like home and how much I learned about myself in the process. My biggest takeaway is that studying abroad teaches you to be adaptable, curious, and confident in ways you can’t get from a classroom alone.
