Join Global Education Oregon for an information session on our summer 2026 Cinema Studies in Dublin program! This summer program is a fantastic opportunity to work both critically and creatively, taking courses on contemporary Irish cinema and digital filmmaking, as well as attending Ireland’s largest film festival held every year in Galway, the Film Fleadh. Weekly excursions and local outings in and around Dublin and the Irish countryside allow you to learn on location about the country’s rich film history and explore the sites where important historical events, and films about those events, took place.
This program has received high interest, and students are encouraged to apply early. The Cinema Studies in Dublin program is on a rolling admission application process, and the final deadline to apply in March 15.

Learn more about French Immersion in Angers, an immersive study abroad offered throughout the calendar year. This program is designed for you to immerse yourself in the French language (regardless of language ability) while also learning about French culture, politics, and society. The program offers classes covering many disciplines, with coursework in history, sociology, political science, business, and French culture and civilization. You will study at the Centre International d'Études Françaises (CIDEF) of the Université Catholique de l’Ouest, taking courses with US and other international students.

Learn Jacquard silk weaving and design at the Foundation Lisio in Florence, Italy, through the Fiber Arts in Florence program! Explore fabric and fibers analysis and learn how to identify complex weave structures like brocade, damask, lampas, liseré, and velvet. On site, you will observe master silkweavers at their looms, engaged in the product design process.

Learn more about Global Education Oregon's Food, Media, and Tourism in Italy and Spain program! Embark on an unforgettable program in two historically and culturally rich cities and take courses that blend culture, sustainability, journalism, and business. Spend the first five weeks in Siena, Italy, a city steeped in medieval charm and world renowned for its culinary traditions, diving into courses on a food and sustainability and on local media. Then, travel to Segovia, Spain, for the final five weeks of your program where you'll be immersed in Spanish food and culture and tourism business in Spain.
