Diving into Spanish Culture in Barcelona

I spent a month in Barcelona, Spain, taking two psychology classes, Positive Psychology and Human Sexuality! In my classes, we practiced gratitude, meditation, and learned about the components of a fulfilling lifestyle. It helped me build a better understanding of well-being and cultural diversity. After lectures, I immersed myself in Spanish culture, tried new foods (my favs were paella and churros), found cozy cafés and met new friends. I loved visiting Gaudí’s museums, touring the Sagrada Família, wandering the Gothic Quarter, and tanning at the beach. It was a big change, but it was lovely to slow down and immerse myself in a different culture. It made me appreciate the little things. I loved my program and the people. I’d highly recommend studying abroad!
