Studying abroad in London for four weeks was truly one of the best experiences of my college career. I loved being able to take what I was learning in my business classes, especially Cross-Cultural Business Communication and Marketing Arts, and experience it firsthand through company visits, cultural experiences, and exploring London. Being immersed in a new environment gave me a much better understanding of how culture influences the way people communicate, market, and do business around the world. Outside of class, I made some of my favorite memories traveling to Edinburgh and Prague, exploring everything London had to offer, and getting to experience incredible events like seeing Bruno Mars and Dom Dolla live. I came home with so many new friendships, memories, and a much greater sense of independence and confidence. My biggest takeaway is that studying abroad teaches you just as much outside of the classroom as it does inside of it. I would recommend it to any student who has the opportunity, it pushed me outside of my comfort zone, gave me a new perspective on the world, and made for a month I will genuinely never forget.
