Studying abroad in London was not just a one-time experience for me. In 2023, I participated in the Pre-freshman study abroad in London. After my first trip, I knew it wouldn’t be my last time studying abroad. When it came time for me to choose a program for my senior year, I knew it had to be London. Studying in London before both my freshman and senior years of college felt like the perfect way to start and end my college career.

While in London, I took two courses that seamlessly fit into my degree requirements for my business major. The classes were interesting, and it was fascinating to take classes with British professors, and comparing it with American professors.
During my program, my roommate and I made sure to see more of England than just London. We took a class day trip to Brighton, on the coast, and we spent the night just outside the city. The next morning, we got up early, ate a traditional English breakfast, and hiked the Seven sisters. I have never seen anything like the white chalky cliffs in my life. It seemed to span for miles, and we made sure to take it all in.

While we were there, we made sure to visit the friendly horses, just a few steps away from the cliffs. After the hike, we took a dip in the English channel, which was a refreshing way to beat the heat of the summer.
The Summer Business in London program gave me great friends, amazing memories, and newfound knowledge through my classes.
I highly recommend studying abroad to anyone, but especially at the London GEO center, because before you know it, it will be your home away from home.
