Kaust provides state of the art technology and research opportunities. I am mostly working with phd and post doc mentors so it has been an amazing opportunity to see their research/experimentation process. Saudi Arabia is also a new cultural experience for me. I came in with some stereotypes, but a lot of these preconceptions have been changed.
