My name is Samara Schuman and I graduated from UO this year as a Chinese Flagship student, Boren Scholar, and student organization founder with a major in Chinese and double minors in political science and business administration. In addition, I studied abroad five times during my time at UO. Three of those programs were fully funded through scholarships and the other two were partially covered. I have moved to Dubai for a dream opportunity of representing Oregon, UO, and America as a Youth Ambassador for the USA Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. If you are not familiar with the event, Expo 2020 is the first World's Fair being held in the Middle East. More than 190 countries are participating and the USA Pavilion is expected to be one of the top five most frequented sites. It's an honor to represent my country and the UO at the world's greatest event!
