Spending my term doing an internship in Tokyo has been nothing short of phenomenal. Tokyo is such a diverse city ethnically, geographically and culturally, so it never fails to bring new exciting adventures. While being here, I’ve seen the infamous Cherry Blossoms during their peak, attended annual festivals such as the Kamakura “Penis” Festival and Tokyo Rainbow Pride, and observed Sumo practices leading up to the big May tournament. I can’t wait for what more Tokyo has to teach me!
