Studying abroad in London last summer was one of the best decisions I made during my college journey. London has always been a dream of mine, and the Summer Business in London program gave me the perfect opportunity to explore the city and truly experience what it would be like to live there.
I pushed myself out of my comfort zone by applying to the program without knowing anyone, and it turned into one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I left with incredible, genuine friendships that I will be grateful for long after I graduate this year. We’ve continued to spend time together regularly since the program ended, and I know we’ll stay connected even after I leave Eugene.
My advice to anyone considering studying abroad is to do it if the opportunity presents itself. Studying abroad inspired me to embrace new challenges, step outside my comfort zone, and realize how much growth can come from taking a chance on something unfamiliar. It gave me confidence in myself and encouraged me to keep seeking out new experiences.
