Doing a Globalworks program in London was an amazing experience!
I learned so much working alongside my team's directors and designers, gaining hands-on experience with how creative projects come to life.
Beyond my professional growth, I was also able to explore the city of London and really immerse myself in the culture. I learned how to use the London Underground, or as Londoners call it, the Tube. I met a bunch of new friends that also go to the University of Oregon, and we explored many parks and brunch spots around the city. My office sat right along the famous Thames river which reminded me of a little piece of home. I also got to visit the studio where all the Harry Potter films were made!
Lastly, I learned so much about myself, my confidence and my independence and made connections that will last a lifetime.
