100 level: This course aims to familiarize students with the pronunciation of the Spanish language, with the basic elements of grammar, and with a vocabulary that allows them to develop daily activities. We apply oral and written exercises that promote the development of communicative skills. This type of intensive course is characterized by dynamism and variety of activities in each class.200 level: Students taking this course must achieve skills in the proper use of different verbal tenses. In addition, they must handle a vocabulary that allows them to communicate fluently in the environment in which they live. Oral and written expression skills as well as listening and reading skills are developed. The texts used deal with political, social, economic, and also the daily life of Ibero-America. Some idioms used in the Hispanic world are also under study in this course. This type of intensive course is characterized by dynamism and variety of activities in each class.300 level: In this course, we handle some aspects of spoken Spanish in Ecuador, incorporate new words and idiomatic expressions. Students should be able to write essays and essays using the grammar studied in class and adjusting to teacher-oriented content. It also deals with aspects of economic, social and political life in Spain and Latin America. This type of intensive course is characterized by dynamism and variety in each class.
