Course Description

This course exposes you to international sports businesses and highlights business strategies and priorities for both US-based sports businesses operating in international markets and Global companies that engage with US consumers. You will engage in a comparative exploration of sports business industries and markets in London, England. During this course, you will have a chance to visit some of the most important local, regional ang global sports organizations, experience intersections between sports and culture in England and participate in cultural and sporting activities, enhancing your cultural understanding of the role that sport plays in countries around the world.

Students taking the course also need to take SBUS 410 Global Sports Business Strategies, offered in Great Britain during the similar dates and SBUS 250 Sports Business and Society as a prerequisite (or online during the summer).
