Siena, Italy
The city of Siena is a UNESCO world heritage site located in Tuscany just an hour south of Florence. The GEO Center in Siena is located in the 19th century Palazzo Bargagli, within the medieval city walls in the Contrada dell’Istrice (the Porcupine district). It is just across from the Medicean Fortress and a short walk to the Piazza del Campo where the historic Palio horse race is run twice each summer.
