Liberal Arts in London
Building on a quarter-century of academic excellence, the London Centre offers multi-disciplinary courses in the liberal arts and humanities. Each course places an important emphasis on experiential learning, transforming the entire city of London into your classroom by incorporating several local outings and excursions.
Health & Safety
Students must quarantine for two weeks upon their arrival. They will receive details regarding grocery delivery services, as they should try to arrange this service prior to arriving in London. Students will be required to maintain 6-feet of distance from staff and faculty at all times. They will also be expected to follow all other social distancing requirements with their peers including those that limit group sizes and certain social activities.

Depending on travel restrictions, there will be several day excursions to local sites in and around London including Bath, Oxford, and Stonehenge. Students will receive more information closer to the start of the program.
Courses are taught by British faculty who have experience teaching US students as well as considerable practical experience in the related field they are teaching—including professional actors, artists and the founder of the European Policy Information Centre. Courses make use of a variety of materials and texts, all of which are included in the program fee.

Homestays may resume for Fall Semester 2021. Many cherish the homestay experience as one of the most rewarding aspects of the London program experience and remain lifelong friends with their homestay family. Your homestay family will provide furnished accommodation with linens plus seven breakfasts (self help) and four dinners per week in addition to two weekly washloads of laundry. Normally, two students are housed together in single or double bedrooms. All requests (i.e., dietary, allergies, medical) are taken into consideration. Please note that roommate requests cannot be accommodated. You will live in the London suburbs experiencing the typical London commute of between 45-75 minutes each way. Accommodation ranges from a bedroom in an apartment to terraced, semi-detached, or detached houses with easy access to shopping centers, libraries, parks and leisure and sports facilities.
