I had the wonderful opportunity to study abroad in Stockholm, Sweden, for the spring semester of my junior year. As an environmental science major, I was curious about the engineering side of sustainability, so I opted to study Environmental Engineering. It was an unforgettable semester - we got to explore the ins and outs of clean energy, waste management, and cutting-edge city projects that were underway. My class also traveled to Iceland to learn about geothermal energy, which was nothing short of spectacular. I met so many incredible people and gained the confidence to travel on my own (and even learned how to order coffee in Swedish). It was an amazing experience, and I could not recommend it more!
