My time studying abroad in Seoul, South Korea, has been nothing but life-changing and built on meaningful memories! From learning Korean for two years in class to being completely immersed in the culture and language, it has been such a privilege!
I was a huge fan of K-pop, K-dramas, Korean food, and the language, so living there for a semester has been nothing but a learning opportunity. Don’t be afraid to ask questions or help because at first I had a huge culture shock, but there are people who are there for you. One of the biggest takeaways from my time abroad is how much perspective it gave me and the world.
Some advice I’d like to give is not to be afraid to try different things! Time will go by so fast, and before you know it, it’s over. Studying abroad was by far my favorite memory of my college years, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!
