Program Overview

Location Overview

As the capital of Argentina, Buenos Aires is a bustling port city with a lively art scene and modern economy. With a history of colonization, European influences are found throughout the city alongside the existing Latin American culture. Buenos Aires is a hub for manufacturing, finance, and transportation fields with a strong tourism industry and robust art scene as well.

Spanish is Argentina's national language, and because the country is located in the southern hemisphere, our summer is their winter. But don’t worry – June through September in Buenos Aires is mild and humid, with temperatures rarely dipping below 50 degrees F. A GlobalWorks internship in Buenos Aires will introduce you to a cosmopolitan mashup of cultures in a city filled with good food, competitive sports, thrilling nightlife, and passionate people.

What is GlobalWorks?
