Internships at NGOs and nonprofits overseas are designed to provide students with practical experience in their chosen specialty and preferred career field while allowing students to develop marketable skills and meaningfully contribute to a cause or issue of interest that will benefit them after graduating from the UO.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2.75 GPA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently
  • Flexibility to take on multiple job responsibilities, including entry level tasks
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently and deal with ambiguity
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work on a team
