Program Overview

Location Overview:

Situated in a narrow valley surrounded by Andean mountains, the “City of Eternal Spring” is a vibrant city nestled among coffee plantations and flower farms. This city comes alive at night, where you’ll meet friendly people who love celebration and football (soccer). Medellin, the second-largest city in Spanish-speaking Colombia, is also very affordable, with plenty of free or cheap public gardens and museums.

Medellin’s robust public transportation and cablecars that take you up into the hills are some of the best in South America. Medellin has one of the fastest-growing economies on the continent and has become a world-renowned hub for sustainable urban development. After decades of civil war, Medellin has transformed itself to become a beacon of entrepreneurialism and resilience throughout Latin America.
