This course will introduce students to ways in which to capture and represent a variety of environments to convey their unique impressions, explore form, light, texture, materiality, and consolidate memory. Students will learn and refine techniques for architectural representation using various media such as free hand drawing, watercolor, and photo collage. Through demonstrations, exercises, and review, students will refine techniques important for design development and visual communication. Students will be expected to explore various settings in Singapore and Malaysia as subject matter for class assignments.
