Obtaining a passport is one of the first steps to complete when considering studying abroad. In an effort to support University of Oregon student participation in study abroad programs, the Division of Global Engagement has funded a passport initiative. This initiative awards a grant that covers the cost of a U.S. passport book and first-time processing fee to all eligible freshman and sophomore standing students.
If selected, you will be expected to acquire your US passport sometime between February-March, using the GEO Passport Grant. The details of this process will be announced after the Dec 15 application deadline.
