Take your first step towards studying abroad by applying for GEO’s Planning Scholarships. There are four scholarships that help UO students plan for success abroad. You can apply as early as Fall of your freshman year by the December 15 deadline. Recipients will be identified approximately one month after the deadline. Those recipients can plan on having a scholarship waiting to be used whenever they decide to participate in a GEO-sponsored study abroad program.
- GEO Scholarship for First-Generation College Students: For First-generation college students. UO undergrads & grad students. Financial need. Minimum 2.5 GPA.
- GEO Study Abroad Scholarship for Students with Disabilities: Documented disability with UO Accessible Education Center. Financial need. Open to UO undergrads and grad students.
- Map Your Future: First-year undergraduate students only (transfer students with less than 45 credits). Financial need.
- GEO Passport Grant: Covers cost of passport. First-time U.S. passport applicant. Pell-Grant recipient, U.S. citizen. Less than 90 credits (freshman/sophomore standing).
