This course delves into the rich artistic traditions of ancient Greece, spanning from the Early Bronze Age through to the Late Roman period. Through engaging lectures, readings, and discussions, students will explore various forms of Greek art—including pottery, sculpture, and metalwork—while visiting historical sites and museums throughout Greece. By analyzing these artifacts in their historical and cultural contexts, students will gain a deeper understanding of ancient Greek society and its enduring influence on modern civilization. The course encourages critical thinking, fostering connections between past and present while immersing students in Greece’s archaeological treasures.

Field Trips: Students will visit major archaeological sites and museums, including the Acropolis, Delphi, and Santorini, providing hands-on learning and unforgettable experiences.
