You will build a field notebook that contains records of what you see and experience during your studies of agriculture and architecture. Field notebooks can include data and observations, sketches, photos, measurements, and other information pertinent to your project. In this course, you will learn about different approaches to keeping a field notebook, how to build one of your own, and what you can do with the information and observations you collect. Once on the ground in Southeast Asia, you will have opportunities to apply a scientist’s and agriculturist’s lens to the study of urban architecture, alongside architecture students who will be applying their unique perspective in a media and sketching course.
