Global Oregon is deliberately cross-regional and interdisciplinary, drawing together UO expertise on every world region and from many academic domains. The Global Oregon Undergraduate Award is designed to help UO undergraduates become more globally engaged through international research or related projects that advance the student’s academic and professional goals.  While awards are most commonly given to support research conducted outside the United States as part of an undergraduate honors thesis or other major written project, the review committee will consider other activities that engage the undergraduate in original investigation and analysis of significant international phenomena.
