The Smith Family Study Abroad Scholarship provides multiple awards of up to $1,000 for University of Oregon students who will study, intern or conduct research outside the United States. Selection is based on academic merit, project proposal, and a well-completed scholarship application. The GEO Scholarships Committee will review applications and make the awards.

Requirements:

• Applicant must be enrolled as a degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate student at the UO.
• Applicant must ultimately be accepted to participate in a GEO-sponsored program for the summer, fall, or academic year.
• Applicant must have at least a 3.00 cumulative GPA.
