Technion-Israel Institute of Technology is Israel’s premier center of science, technology and applied research. Ranked among the top 50 technology universities in the world, Technion is home to 18 faculties, and over 60 advanced research centers and institutes, and a distinguished faculty of 620, including three Nobel laureates.
 
Technion is located in the coastal city of Haifa, with close to 300,000 residents. The Technion campus is located on the slopes of Mount Carmel. With restaurants, cafes, banks, shops, a medical clinic, supermarket, school supply shop, laundromats, easy access to public transportation and student center within easy reach, the university campus has been named “Technion City.”
