Joe earned his B.A. in Global Studies at the University of Oregon. In high school he studied for a year in Delhi, India which built on a lifelong interest in intercultural communication, diplomacy, and student exchange. As an undergrad, he studied in France with GEO, participated in a summer language program in Italy, and traveled anytime he had the opportunity. Prior to joining GEO, Joe worked as an English conversation teacher in Nagaoka, Japan for three years. Outside of work Joe loves racket sports, reading, exploring new places, and any kind of game.
