Internship in Sustainable Business

The Sustainable Business in Costa Rica Program offers students the opportunity to complete internships as a form of experiential learning. These internships are designed to help students gain practical experience in sustainable business, develop relevant skills, and build professional connections.During the one-month internship, students work closely with a company on a pre-selected project aimed at enhancing the organization’s sustainability practices. Projects may include:

Brand Design

In-depth examination of brands and branding, including how brands are designed, managed,
and repositioned and the role marketing communications disciplines, including advertising
and PR, play in this process. The course focuses on UK and other European brands and
professional practice in London, one of the largest international centres for brand
development and management.

Managing People in Organizations

One of the defining elements of modern life is that we spend a great deal of time working in or interacting with organizations, as an employee, vendor, volunteer, customer, client or citizen. Understanding the behavior of individuals and teams in organizations, and the ways organizational structure and culture shapes that behavior, will make you more effective in all of these roles.
