Courtney earned her B.A. in English and Latin American Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire (UWEC). As an undergrad, she studied abroad in Costa Rica and South Africa, which influenced her decision to pursue a career in international education. Prior to joining GEO, Courtney worked as a Study Abroad Coordinator at UWEC, received a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship to Brazil, participated in the Critical Language Scholarship Program, and earned her M.A. in Comparative and International Development Education from the University of Minnesota.
She is an enrolled member of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin through her maternal grandmother. In her free time, Courtney enjoys spending time at the barn with her horse, participating in a plethora of outdoor activities, reading and traveling.
