Academic Details
The academic year at ITESM Querétaro is organized in two semesters. The first semester runs from early August to early December and the second semester from early January to early May. The university offers a comprehensive curriculum with courses available in several disciplines. International students can select courses from different disciplines or combine courses with internship hours. A full-time internship option with a company is also available. The majority of Tec courses encompass 48 hours of face-to-face time in the classroom (3 hours a week during the semester). ITESM lecturers and professors tend to promote team projects, oral presentations, and active student participation in class. Homework is assigned on a regular basis. IMPORTANT: The GEO Cancellation Policy is effective from the time a student agrees to pay their non-refundable program deposit or electronically signs the program commitment form, regardless of application or acceptance status. It is essential to read this policy before a potential cancellation takes place, to fully understand the withdrawal and cancellation penalties, and to understand what it means financially to commit to a study abroad program.
Students who cancel their participation must notify GEO in writing. Email is acceptable (geoinfo@uoregon.edu). Verbal notification to GEO or notification given to a non-UO campus study abroad office is not sufficient.
